Dr. Bhaskar Krishnamachari is a faculty member in USC's Electrical Engineering Department with a joint appointment in Computer Science, since 2002. He obtained his Ph.D. from Cornell University, under a three year Graduate School Fellowship and a prestigious Olin Presidential Fellowship. Before that, in 1998, he obtained his B.E. at The Cooper Union in New York City. He heads the Autonomous Networks Research Group at USC. He has co-authored more than 70 technical publications to date, primarily in the area of wireless networks, and serves as an editor for the Elsevier Journal of Ad Hoc Networks. He is the recipient of a 2004 National Science Foundation CAREER Award for research on mathematical models for querying and routing in sensor networks.
